Self-proclaimed as “The World’s Largest and Most Effective Dating Site for Bisexuals, Hookups, Threesomes, & Swingers,” BiCupid has over 2.4 millions bisexual members. Right from the get-go, you are asked if you want to join to meet attractive singles or to register as someone seeking open-minded couples.
In addition to bisexual, bi-curious individuals and bi couples, straight, gay, lesbian, threesome, BDSM singles, the LGBT community, and couples are also welcome to join the platform.
As an inclusive dating platform, most users of BiCupid are interested in chatting, hooking up, and exploring their sexuality. That being said, there are still plenty of members interested in lovers and intimate relationships.
BiCupid is a trusted dating site with a background that dates back to 2003 in Silicon Valley. Bisexual singles and couples from all over the world, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity are invited to join.

Signing Up for BiCupid
When you first visit BiCupid, you’ll have the option to seek attractive singles or open-minded couples. Click which one you’re interested in and then sign up through your Apple or Google account, or provide your email address. Next, you’ll choose who you are (Bi Woman, Bi Man, Woman, Man, Trans, Couple) and who you are looking for (same options). You can then create your account by coming up with a password and providing your location and age.
Your username will be the name other people see when they visit your profile. To complete your profile follow the steps asking for your height, ethnicity, relationship status, profile headline (50 characters or less), about yourself (50 characters minimum), and about your match (50 characters minimum). The final step is to add photos of yourself. The site will tell you that profiles with photos get 20x more views, but we couldn’t create an account without uploading a photo anyway.
Make sure to enter a correct and active email address because you will need to confirm it with a code sent to your inbox. Once that is completed you can start searching for available singles in your area.

There is estimated to be around 85,000 members from the United Kingdom on BiCupid. The average age range is higher than most dating platforms at 35 to 44 years of age. While there are more male users than female users, we didn’t have any issues finding matches of both sexes. There are also plenty of couples and trans folks to match with.
For the most part, members of BiCupid are interested in flirting, casual encounters, and hookups. You can tell by the photos people post on the platform that long-term relationships aren’t the main focus. We also noticed a good percentage of men in their mid-twenties and even people interested in committed relationships. Overall, BiCupid comes off as a place where you find just about anything you’re interested in.
Matching Process
When you sign into your account the first page you see is your home tab. Here you can see new members, the latest activities, and the option to search by age, county, and province. If you’re used to swiping through profile previews, BiCupid also has its “Spark” feature that allows you to select the X icon or the heart icon to show interest or not.
If you’re looking for first date ideas, under the “Community” tab click “First Date Ideas.” In this section, anyone can post their first date ideas. If you have an idea, feel free to type one out and post it to one of the feeds (food & drinks, arts & culture, out & about, others, dating ideas by age). For a good laugh, head over to the “Friendly Jokes” section under the “Community” tab as well.
Contact Options
Here’s the kicker, you have to purchase the premium plan if you want to freely send other members messages. With the standard membership, you can send winks and request more photos, but if you want to really get a conversation started, the premium membership is a must.
Under the “My List” tab, you can keep up with who “Liked Me,” “Viewed Me,” “Winked at Me,” as well as “Mutual Matched” and who you “Liked.” To view all your conversations with different members, head to the “Messages” tab. Here you can search by “All” and “Unread” messages. If you have any questions, click the chatbot in the lower right corner of your screen. Their support bot can help you figure out the platform and navigate the site.
