If you’re in your 30s and ready to start meeting people online, Single30sDating is a great place to start. For those new to online dating, signing up and figuring out a platform can be intimidating. Single30sDating makes it easy to register and create an account by walking you through each step of the way.
While registering, a chatbot named Isabella ask questions about your ideal partner and your personality, lifestyle, and physical features. Once signed up, customer service will send you a message with a few tips to get started, such as how to get more attention.
So what’s wrong with Single30sDating? You’ll have to pay to enjoy the best features and increase your chances of meeting singles.
With the freemium plan, you will be limited to viewing profiles without photos and sending icebreakers, emoticon faces, and liking profiles.
Paying for the premium membership enables you to view photos, write messages, request video calls, and profiles to your favourites list. Starting at $240 a year for the least pricey plan, Singles30Dating isn’t the cheapest online dating site on the market. But for singles in their 30s who can probably afford £20/month, it’s worth it.

On the home page, after you select your gender and the gender you are interested in, you’ll be presented with a chatbot named Isabella. The virtual assistant will help you create a new profile. Start by providing your first name, date of birth, and where you would want your partner to live.
Next Isabella will ask you to tell her something about your ideal partner. Here are some of the questions she’ll ask you: Is it easy for you to choose a new partner? What interests you the most when getting to know someone new? Which traits are most important to you in a partner?
Finally, Isabella will want to know more about you. You’ll need to provide information regarding how open you are with your feelings, whether you seek advice from family/friends, and at least 3 traits you have. The last step is answering questions about your appearance and lifestyle, ie your hair/eye color, height, body type, smoking habits, drinking habits, and whether you live with kids or not.
We like Single30sDating because they ask for all this information to help find compatible partners. The dating site even asks for your education level, yearly income, and job title. Once you provide your email and create a password, you can browse the matches they’ve found for you.
As a young online dating site, it’s difficult to assess the gender distribution and the number of members signed up with Single30sDating. However, just by using the eye test alone, we were able to find singles around London that had at least 5 similarities. And while the name of the site suggests members need to be in their 30s to join the site, we were matched up with plenty of 28- and 29-year-olds as well. This suggests there are singles on the site looking for an older partner that might be more mature and established in their career.
The matching process on Single30sDating is comprehensive and allows you to meet other members in several ways. Firstly, you’re given a top match in which you can send a message, break the ice, send an emoji, or like their profile. Alternatively, you can scroll through profiles that have similarities to your interests and personality.
You can also scroll through members that are currently online and start a conversation right away. Lastly, you can click the thumbs-up or the X icon in the “Is it Love at first Like?” section located on the left side of your screen on the home page. In a way, this is Single30sDating’s roulette-style swiping feature much like Tinder or other similar dating apps.
As mentioned, you can send any member a message or invite them to video chat with you if you pay for the premium service. Without the premium service, you are limited to sending icebreakers, emoji faces, or liking someone’s profile. Icebreakers include questions like “Would you move to a new city?” or “How many serious relationships have you had?”
It’s important to upload up to 5 photos of yourself if you want to get noticed more. According to Single30sDating, “Users with a profile photo uploaded get 10 times more messages.” Once you send a message or receive a message, you can click on the Mailbox tab to see your messages.
As a premium member, you can also add profiles to your favourites list if you’re not sure about sending a message right away.
For now, there is no Single30sDating app, but the platform is functional on your phone’s browser, which is convenient. The mobile-friendly site is easy to navigate and doesn’t have too many bells and whistles, while still providing enough features to find singles in your area.
Our biggest gripe with Single30sDating is that it’s a young dating platform that still has plenty of room to grow. As far as functionality goes, Single30sDating has everything you’d ever want in a dating site besides the large number of singles to choose from.
It has personality matching, a search feature, matches to swipe through, and a “Who’s Online?” tab. You also have tons of messaging options that you can send to anyone. Those contacting options include messaging, icebreakers, emojis, profile liking, and even video call requests.
In our opinion, Single30sDating is a solid dating site for people in their late 20s and 30s living in populated areas. Plus, if you’d like to see what your options are before paying for the premium service, you can browse profiles free of charge.
